Comm. Gen. Police Susno Duadji

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — The Profession and Security division (Propam) will probe the former chief detective Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji again this morning for suspicions of violations of ethics and disciplinary codes. Susno will be probed at the Transnational Crime Center building of the National Police HQ.

"At 9.00," stated the police spokesperson Insp. Gen. Edward Aritonang on Thursday evening.

Edward stated that the probe this time is to follow up on the previous two probes, referring to the two sessions Susno has had on Monday morning and evening.

Susno has been declared to be a suspect for breaching codes of ethics and discipline. One of his violations is for being absent from work for 78 days.

The police have gathered evidences to catch this former West Java police chief for calling the National Police HQ as the case brokering center. The police consider his statement a contempt against the police institution.

Susno has also been charged for defamation and slander by Brig. Gen Police Raja Erizman and Brig. Gen. Police Edmond Ilyas. Both officers are retaliating against Susno's accusation that they've had a share of the Rp. 24.6 billion found in Gayus' account. Susno still has to face those charges even though the National Police chief has stated that there have been indications of misconduct while the police were handling Gayus' case. (SAN/C17-09)
