TERKAIT:

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Susno Duadji's legal counsel is considering to ask the protection from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), considering that Susno's condition is on 'red alert'.

"We're considering of asking the LPSK for protection," said Efran Helmi Juni, a member of Susno's legal counsel team, Jakarta, Wednesday.

According to Efran, actually Susno should have the protection of the National Police's Profession and Security division, because he has revealed a suspicion of case brokering within the police, but instead he's been made suspect for defamation.

The legal counsel regrets this, because the National Police should first handle the case brokering issue, which did come first, instead of the defamation charge that came later. (Anita Yossihara/C17-09)
