TERKAIT:

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — Dulmatin's body has been claimed by his family from Sukanto police hospital, at 8.50 pm, here, Thursday. The body was transported by ambulance and heavily escorted by the police. The terrorist's coffin bore the name "Joko Pitono", one of his aliases.

Before the ambulance departed, Dulmatin's wife, Istiadah, came to the police at 7.05 pm. Her face was mostly veiled and she walked straight into the forensic room. She didn't ride the ambulance, but took a cab instead.

"Dulmatin's body has been treated well. The hospital has washed and shrouded Dulmatin's body," stated Sutrisno Budi Siswanto, chief of the Sukanto hospital.

However, Sutrisno didn't  elaborate on the physical conditions of Dulmatin's body. "That's not within our authority because there was a special identification team for that matter."

The other two bodies, according to Sutrisno, are still being processed for administration before handed over to the investigators. "One family has come for a look, but I can't say the family of which." (C7-10/C17-09)
