JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Discourse about the reformation for the National Police along with the replacement of the Criminal Detective Body Chief (Kabareskrim) Police Comm. Gen. Susno Duadji, has emerged after the speech of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Monday. National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Nanan Sukarna stated that there should be a legal procedure for both issues.

However, Nanan doesn't know whether the Kabareskrim position held by Susno will be replaced by someone else. "Well, I don't know yet. That's for the superiors to decide. But clearly there must be a legal procedure for it," said Nanan Sukarna at the National Police HQ, Tuesday.

On the other hand, regarding the growing rumors that he will replace Susno, Nanan said that he would leave that completely to the superiors' policies. "Let's not give in to rumors. That will only complicate things. We should leave everything for the superiors to explain. We should wait for their response," said the former Police Chief of North Sumatera. (C11-09/C17-09)
