JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The participants of special leadership meeting of the People's Conscience Party (Hanura), Saturday, have unanimously decided to support the pair of Jusuf Kalla and Wiranto, popularly called JK-Win, to compete in the upcoming presidential election. Wiranto, the Hanura leader, announced the decision when he delivered remarks to the cadres in Hotel Sahid Jaya, Jakarta.
"There's no single cadre who refures the pair," Wiranto said to the audience. Kalla appeared in the meeting with wife, Mufida Kalla and Golkar's secretary-general Sumarsono.
The meeting has also taken back the Wiranto's mandate as the presidential candidate. "It's one grade lower. Yet, it shows that the Hanura is rational," Wiranto told the reporters.
In response to this Kalla, Golkar leader, expressed his appreciation for the support. "Insya Allah (God will) we will carry out the mandate well," Kalla said when giving his speech.
